i am so glad i found this. maxwell has been driving me crazy with his racism. i was hoping other people felt the same way so i searched "maxwell show racist" and this came up. i have wmms on a lot when i get in the car in the afternoon because i listen to rover in the morning and i cannot believe the things i hear from maxwell. some of the things i heard in the brief moments i had it on today were absolutely atrocious. they were listening to a tape from oprah and dane cook and his sidekick said he hoped dane cook made oprah laugh because he wanted to hear her "laugh like a gorilla." later on, maxwell called basketball "blacksketball" (he's not the first person i've heard this from, but it appalls me every time). also, the way he always says "black" or as he says "the blacks" is just terrible. i'm from cleveland and he's an embarrassment to our city. we need to get him off the radio.
Since when is it ok to be racist on the radio?
